Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field preferred.

Ten (10) years of experience in developing enterprise and/or in integration architectures.

Position Purpose:

The accelerating needs of the digital business are expanding Directory Services and IAM use cases. New platforms, applications, user constituencies and things are feeding the expansion. Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Directory Services Architect to lead the Enterprise using a blend of governance, architecture, cloud-first practices, extensible API-based identity offerings and mini-services to provide a more layered, contextual approach that supports modern identity across multiple user constituencies and things.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: 1. Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible. Coordinate with other Architects to provide technical leadership to drive Directory Services technology choices, strategy, and implementation decisions to achieve high reliability, performance, and adaptability of all technologies under the IT domains. 2. Serve on identity and access management governance boards to act as the main liaison between governance/user and technology interests within the organization, and facilitate and document the agreements on appropriate corporate access management and its usage (IAM, API Gateway, SSO, GAD, LDAP, IDaaS, SAML, RBAC, etc.). 3. Understand and communicate the requirements to integrate hosted identity services with on-premises applications via a standards-based approach to provide cloud-managed users with scalable and secure access to on-premises applications. 4. Knowledge to develop and execute complex deployment scenarios and guide environmental changes, such as consolidation, platform upgrades, and divestitures of Active Directory platforms using Dell/Quest/Azure and/or Binary Tree migration tools, AD/Directory services toolsets –to guide best practices to manage, audit ,and leverage identity analytics to improve authentication and reduce the risk of excessive access rights. 5. Produce enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Services for global initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams. Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements: 1. Expert knowledge of AD, ADFS, PKI in Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2. Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows 2012 landscape. 2. Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems. 3. Knowledge of server web services and associated protocols, standards and tools (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, etc.) Self-starter, team player, and effective negotiator with advanced decision-making and diplomacy skills. 4. Demonstrates enterprise thinking and influence across functional boundaries. 5. Experience working with multiple application platforms, including .NET, Knowledge of RESTful web service design, API management, and both async & sync communication methods. Understanding of API authentication types: e.g. OAUTH, SAML, OpenID.
