As an employee of Coborn's, Inc., the Home Delivery Driver provides efficient transportation, handling, and delivery of merchandise to customers. Duties include delivery of merchandise to customer's, consolidating individual customer orders, loading orders in the company vehicle and ensuring proper payment. Represent the company by following all rules of the road and applicable laws.
The Home Delivery Driver position requires a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education or experience. This position requires the need to provide exceptional customer service by treating all customers and co-workers with dignity and respect. Must be self-motivated, energetic and customer service oriented. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record per company policy. Ability to obtain DOT medical examiners certificate and must pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing and safety background check. Ability to qualify for power equipment certification.
