Serving the needs of the Medicaid population requires a well-oiled machine. Our fast-paced, high volume offices require smart scheduling, effective patient communications, tested processes and a dedicated, well-trained staff. The Adventure Dental, Vision, and Orthodontics team knows what it takes to provide quality dental, vision and orthodontic care under one roof. The Vision Team Leader mission is to achieve patient and organizational goals by effectively managing vision staff processes and assisting with human resource functions within a pediatric vision practice.

Understand, monitor, and ensure the smooth execution of office processes, including but not limited to: managing employee files, verifying insurance benefits, overseeing timesheets and submitting payroll, and supervising vision staff. Understand, monitor and ensure effective execution of all policies and procedures by completing administrative tasks correctly and on time, supporting organizations goals and values, supporting affirmative action and respecting diversity, and adhering to state and federal guidelines.Uses research, facts, and analysis to inform decisions and continually improve outcomes.

Establish clear expectations for teammates around desired patient experience and respond promptly to customers needs by greeting patients upon arrival and scheduling appointments, answering all patient inquiries in person and on the phone, creating appropriate contracts and payment plans for private pay patients, preparing accurate patient insurance letters and ensuring smooth patient flow while multitasking and taking initiative. Possesses an ability to work on multiple projects, problems or tasks at once.

* Able to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

* Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, listening to patients needs and possesses a friendly and outgoing demeanor.

* Preferred knowledge of Revolution H or other vision software, Intero Order processing systems, Google Docs, Document Portal Spreadsheet software and must be proficient at using Microsoft Word and Excel.


* High school diploma or GED.

* At least one year of administrative experience.

* Previous experience in a vision practice is a plus.
