We are looking for an IT Sr. Manager to join our growing Global Services Enablement delivery team, which provides technology solutions and integration services to our internal/external customers. This team is closely aligned to the Employee Enablement efforts and is dedicated to support Client Advisory Services (CAS), Global Deposit Operations (GDO), Global Loan Operations (GLO) & Transformation Office (TO) initiatives, which includes execution of Quick Wins, process automation, a new document repository solution, and more. This position will specialize within our new document repository solution where we offer to replace existing Document repository DRCi with an industry standard tool that can eliminate manual work, provide security and robustness expected per industry standards.

The IT Sr. Manager will manage and develop a team of IT professionals for delivering new and enhancing our existing business solutions and capabilities, while ensuring a seamless delivery of end-to-end production support for our IT systems and technology. This role aligns technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies. The role will provide leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives, which create and maintain leadership for the enterprise in a constantly changing and intensely competitive marketplace. This position will work closely with cross-functional senior management, influencing strategies and maintaining technology roadmaps to meet current, future and long-term needs in support of the bank's processing needs and its continuing expansion efforts.

Lead, direct and manage a cross-disciplined team of individual contributors (e.g. System Analysts, Support Analysts, Software Engineers) to:

* Deliver against initiatives with speed and quality, and on budget, while fostering healthy inner and inter department relationships, both internal and external to IT.

* Develop and maintain domain expertise, system and infrastructure knowledge for applications and products under their responsibility.

* Provide mentorship, coaching and line management to their team, building a cadre of strong IT professionals.

* Develop and maintain technology roadmap and strategy for their assigned domain/area.

* Ensure end-to-end support for production, disaster recovery and business continuity for their assigned domain/area.

* Oversee proactive maintenance on existing SaaS and on premise applications within your team's responsibilities to ensure our critical systems remain stable, are able to scale as our business grows, and remain fit-for-purpose.

* Work closely with cross-functional business, IT and vendor teams to ensure delivery of the right-sized solutions to meet current, future and long-term needs in support of SVB's Global Services Enablement. Responsible for end-to-end health and maintenance of assigned systems, including working closely with stakeholders to understand new capabilities and future roadmaps, and being able to apply this knowledge to solve for business needs and pain points.

* Act as a consultant to the business, striving to meet their business and compliance objectives with innovative, cost effective and efficient solutions, leveraging existing infrastructure and capabilities whenever possible.

* Work with senior stakeholders to define roadmaps, strategies and solutions and to resolve escalated issues.

* Manage our existing production infrastructure, application support and environments are maintained to deliver exceptional service levels to our users and clients.

* Manage production and disaster recovery environments to ensure they are kept upgraded, stay compliant to changing regulations, execute against risk plans and proactively address issues.

* Responsible for managing vendor relationships by interacting with vendors and vendor management office to maintain healthy partnerships; assists with negotiating and finalizing Request for Proposals, Statement of Work and other contracts.

* In collaboration with Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), provide your team's resource requirements and budget to deliver against the defined roadmaps and proposed business cases.

* Assist EPMO to work closely with senior management across the organization to plan and communicate the status of the IT portfolio of projects and changes.

* Highlight risks or issues with initiatives they are involved in, and collaborate with technical PMO resources to mitigate these to ensure successful, on-time and on-budget delivery of those programs/projects.

* Collaborate and facilitate decisions to resolve conflicts that span more than one group, while ensuring an overall positive outcome for the corporation.

* Understand and navigate the complexities of the organizational decision making hierarchy and knowledgeable for the assigned business areas.

* Demonstrated leadership experience and desire to innovate, drive change and guide teams to mobilize necessary action.

* Experience with ITIL or other frameworks for systematic management of IT services.

* Excellent influencing, facilitation, and collaborating skills. Ability to build strong internal and external networks; work across functions to influence decisions of Sr. Stakeholders.

* Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment.

* A willingness to mentor people inside/outside of the Information Technology department on best practices, system design principles, and computing industry trends.

* Ability to mesh well with the existing management team by being a good listener, a team builder and an articulate advocate of their business and technical vision.

* Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

* 7 years of relevant work experience with systems implementations and/or system enhancements, ideally with 5 years of experience working in information technology domain within Banking or Financial Services industry.

* Ability to execute and prioritize a number of tasks, initiate and conduct meetings with team and peers.

* Able work independently with minimal supervision.

* Ability to understand data flows and how applications interface with one another (including upstream / downstream).

* Quick Thinking – being able to think on the spot quickly to minimize business impact and make key decisions.

* Basic level of understanding regarding IT infrastructure e.g. understanding networks, circuits, routers, etc.
