Senior Program Manager

We are now looking for a Senior Software Program Manager

In this role, you will be oriented around our Automotive core software development and related software products. You will support our software development teams, track and coordinate with customer program management, and handle software postings.

What you'll be doing:

* Handling software releases for new hardware and/or new software features.

* Implementing and maintain software ISO 26262 processes in support of Automotive Safety requirements.

* Lead the software release cycle across multiple functional areas including software development and hardware integration, SQA, and product managers.

* Define releases, drive features and bug fixes, testing, and documentation.

* You will work with customer PMs on software issues including technical feedback from OEMs.

* Improve and maintain all processes related to building and testing the product. A dedicated Program Architect will support your Program Management activities as a technical lead for this program.

* Detail oriented with an attested ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements

* Hands on experience in a software development environment.

* Strength working independently and actively with minimal direction.

* Able to work with resources across multiple time zones.

* Excellent communication and technical presentation skills

* Able to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful

* Demonstrable ability to think in an unexpected way to resolve technical issues and resource conflicts

* Demonstrated ability to get complex product to customers

Required Technical Skills:

* 3-5 years programming of a modern programming language desired

* Thorough knowledge of software engineering principles

* Working knowledge of industry standard configuration management tools.

* Experience with productivity tools and process automation

* Familiar with AGILE software development processes

* Knowledge of operating systems, embedded principles and standards

Required Experience and Education:

* 5-8 years of relevant work experience

* Bachelors in electrical engineering or computer science

* PM Certification/training a strong plus
