The Senior Director Payer Relations will have overall responsibility for assuring payer coverage and reimbursement for Kite products.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

* Assessing the Medicare and Commercial payer coverage landscape for Oncology

* Developing the Payer strategic plan for the KTE-C19 launch

* Mapping the U.S. Payer landscape and developing the plan for payer meetings

* Coordinating the payer education discussions with Medical Affairs and/or Clinical

* Leading the creation of the business plans for payers

* Identifying and meeting with potential advocates for payer discussions

* Understanding CMS requirements for new therapy coverage

* Assessing the Medicare compendia requirements and partner with Medical Affairs to assure Kite meets the submission timelines

* Partnering with the VP, Market Access and Medical Affairs to develop the HEOR plan

* Assuring payer coverage for Kite products

* Partnering with the Kite Konnect team to address reimbursement obstacles

* Lead an account management team

Requirements:

* Excellent strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to successfully partner with payers and with internal cross-functional teams

* Possess a willingness and ability to work hands-on and with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment;

* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to and engage with a wide range of audiences;

* Sustained track record of achievement in Oncology payer relations

* BA/BS degree required, Master degree preferred

* 10 years' experience in Oncology Payer Relations

* Management Experience

* ust have CAR-T experience

* Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience preferred

* Requires ability to travel minimum of 50%

* Preferred location: Eastern half of U.S. (Field based role.)
