Digitization Strategy

  • Develop and maintain Digitalization Roadmap, outlining sequencing and timing of specific projects and activities.
  • Communicate with stakeholders as needed to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and business needs.
  • Work cross-functionally to create business cases and provide justification for projects and activities.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of progress against project timelines and deliverables.
  • Partner with stakeholders, such as Operations and IT, to define technical requirements and specifications.
  • Drive the execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Define and enforce Governance guidelines, such as system ownership, security, and processes.
  • Define detailed project plan, including scope and timelines, for implementation of new systems, and improvements of existing systems.
  • Track project status against project plan.
  • Maintain communication with teams and stakeholders throughout the execution of the project.
  • Identify deviations from project plan and escalate issues to project sponsors as needed.

Ongoing support

  • Network with counterparts across other operating companies for ongoing maintenance and improvements of key systems, such as SAP.
  • Support super users with issue resolution and provide training to ensure key systems are maintained.
  • Develop system health checks to ensure stability of key systems.

Special Projects

  • Lead and participate in strategic improvement projects across the business.
  • Create an inclusive environment that embraces our values and purpose.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

The transformation project manager will lead the integration of digital technologies into existing business processes within operations and will drive key strategic improvement projects. This role requires working closely with stakeholders across the organization to define business needs, identify the best solutions to meet those needs, then integrate the solutions into daily practices on the factory floor while providing ongoing high-level support for major issues.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a manufacturing related field and 6 to 8 years of related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience manufacturing supervisory experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing systems in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Safety functions.
  • Ability to understand complex situations quickly.
  • Able to identify impact of projects on all aspects of the business and balance those deliverables to find the best wholistic solution.
  • Strong curiosity to understand key challenges and drivers across other business areas.
  • Knowledge and sound understanding of database systems, network infrastructure, and industrial control systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and procedures to all levels within the organization, from the factory floor to senior management.
  • Able to set priorities for self and team.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Experience in food manufacturing environment.
