Equipment Maintenance Technician

Ultimate Staffing is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a long term opportunity!

Perform day-to-day maintenance of battery production equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform day-to-day maintenance on equipment: respond to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly and efficiently

- Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis and communicate next-step actions

- Perform preventative maintenance including troubleshooting, repair and cleanliness

- Create and / or improve PM documents and schedule

- Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds, (some weekends and holidays required)

- Use manufacturing systems for issue tracking, spare parts tracking etc.

- Work with engineering and other cross-functional groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime

- Recommend and provide countermeasures to prevent repetitive breakdown

Requirements:

- Experience with PLCs, Robotics, Laser Welding and CNC programming preferred

- Skilled at troubleshooting electromechanical systems including conveyance and automation

- Experienced and skilles with a variety of hand tools, as well as general electrical and mechanical functions

- Able to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

- Machine tool experience

- User level knowledge of MS Office programs

- Flexibility with schedule depending on work demand

Requirements
