With our $12M in Series B funding and ability to now distribute alcohol, we plan to expand Snacks and Catering nationally to new enterprise and Fortune 500 clients. ZeroCater is seeking a highly motivated individual to help develop the strategy for our supply chain. You will be the go-to expert within the organization for data related to our supply chain operations, influencing our strategy across inventory, warehouse, and snacks+beverage operations. Our company is experiencing rapid growth and we will look to you to help scale one of our most critical functions. The ideal candidate has a background in food-related supply chain, is highly analytical and loves solving problems. The position reports to the Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager

What You'll Do:

* Identify, model, and monitor various supply chain related constraints (capacity, material, inventory, etc.) while analyzing customer demand vs. plan, and demand variability.

* Analyze current processes/activities and recommend improvements in order to reduce waste and minimize costs while reporting and monitoring spoilage and donations process.

* Maintain supply planning model and support finance and operations teams with S&OP activities (analysis, presentation prep, etc.)

* Evaluate potential tools, reporting, and processes for enhancing the planning function.

* Process and place purchase orders, monitor and address product receipts, discrepancies, credits and charges.

Who You Are:

* 4+ years of professional supply chain experience within a food+beverage organization, ideally dealing with highly perishable inventory.

* Bachelor's degree required with a preference in Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

* Self-starter - able to identify a problem or process improvement address and implement a solution.

* Mastery of Excel, including creating models from scratch to perform custom analysis with usage and data visualization software (Chartio preferred).

* Passion for customer and vendor experience with a track record of building dashboards and tools to improve quality and satisfaction.
