* Business Intelligence (BI) Sr. Engineer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.

* In this role, should have a background in data and business analysis. Also should be analytical and an excellent communicator with business acumen and problem-solving aptitude.

* Ultimately, enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.

* Responsible for Requirements gathering, designing data flow and reports, develop code, build reports, able to provide pipelines with testing and production deployment

* Cultivate devops mindset and culture by building continuous integration /delivery pipelines with full ownership for the technical product

* Architecting, designing and developing applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and re-use

* Leading and driving automated test cases and architecting automated test environment setup

* Setting and adhering to software coding and style guides to ensure consistency and participate in code reviews

* Mentoring and guiding others who are still developing their skills and

* Identifying improvements and tuning opportunities to stabilize the application footprint

Key Responsibilities:

* Translate business needs to technical specifications by partnering with Product Owners, Solution Architects and tech Leads

* Design, build, test (unit, feature, integration, regression) and deploy BI solutions using continuous integration and delivery model (e.g. reporting tools)

* Maintain and support data analytics platforms and create tools to store data (e.g. Hive, MicroStrategy, OLAP Cubes) using devOps process and tools

* Evaluate and improve existing BI systems by migrating to cloud and consume data using streaming technologies (Kafka, Streamanalytix, Azure Analysis Services)

* Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

* Create visualizations and reports for requested functions (Power BI)

* Develop, update and maintain technical documentation using collaborating tools (confluence, box, google docs)

* Reviewing and analyzing data from multiple internal and external data sources by collaborating with teams

Key Experiences:

* Proven experience as a BI Developer

* Worked in Agile development with devOps mindset

* Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining

* In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework

* Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)

* Knowledge of SQL queries, Spark, Hive, Micro-strategy, Rabbit MQ, Cubes

* Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

* Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

* Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field with 10-12 years of experience.
