About the Team

The SEO Team is responsible for helping clients and potential clients discover our brand via organic search. As part of the Growth Marketing organization, we're also focused on driving new client growth through a thoughtful, conversion-driven strategy. At its core, Stitch Fix is a personalization service, and our team leverages data to bring the same level of personalization to our marketing. We partner closely with the broader marketing team, as well as data science, engineering and the creative team to produce the best result possible.

About the Role

A key role in optimizing the Stitch Fix experience, the SEO Content Marketing Associate will be responsible for ensuring our website, blog posts, and all other owned content experiences are actively driving our SEO program forward and are acquiring new clients. Working closely with a Growth Marketing Manager, you will execute any content production & distribution projects that improve Stitch Fix's SEO performance, including: keyword research, blog posts, web pages, and link-building partnerships. You will work cross-functionally with our Creative, Analytics, Engineering, UX, Product, Social, PR, and Influencer teams to partner on execution when necessary.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

* Perform brand & non-brand keyword research to identify content opportunities for both Stitch Fix's core domain and blog subdomain properties.

* Work with Growth Manager to develop an SEO content production & distribution plan for Stitch Fix's crawlable on- and off-site experiences.

* Own the execution of:

* Partner with cross-functional employees from Creative, Engineering, Product, & UX to ensure we're building the best web experiences for our clients.

* Provide the Blog Team with keyword-driven seasonal, non-brand blog post recommendations, as well as content outlines that utilize on-page best practices.

* Write copy for web pages & blog posts when needed.

* Report organic blog performance trends in bi-weekly meetings with Blog Manager.

* Research & identify link building opportunities. Manage outreach & partnerships, working closely with our Influencer Marketing Team and PR when appropriate.

* You have 2-3 years of experience in digital publishing, marketing & ecommerce with a focus on content management, SEO, content marketing, link building, or influencer marketing.

* You have excellent writing & communication skills, and are even able to spin up the occasional blog post.

* You are extremely organized, have a high level of attention to detail, and love putting plans into action.

* You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver and have a high level of accountability.

* You know your way around Wordpress, and are familiar with a few of the following: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio, STAT Keyword Tracker, SEMRush, and other SEO tools.

* You have are both a right-brain and left-brain thinker able to bring both an analytical orientation and a creative mindset.

* You enjoy developing creative strategies ultimately grounded in data.

* You have experience managing the end-to-end process of setting up, monitoring and analyzing content performance.

* You possess a strong understanding of consumer mindset, consumer empathy and dedication to great consumer experiences.
