Your Mission

As a PR Manager at Improbable you will play a central role in the success of our SpatialOS product and our business with games developers. Your role will see you partnering with product and engineering teams to deliver our product to market and ensure the success of our business with target customers. As one of our first Marketing hires in China, your mission is to rapidly grow the profile of Improbable amongst Chinese game developers, ensuring that we have a clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging that resonates. You will partner with our Marketing division in London to define Improbable's branding, identity and voice for the Chinese market.

Your key responsibilities are:

* Engage with and prioritise the stream of incoming media enquiries.

* Develop deep relationships with key media partners in Games.

* Work to grow the wider Improbable brand in the gaming and technology mediaCreate and execute segment PR plans that drive growth to the brand and the business.

* Grow an intimate knowledge of the worldwide games press, understanding the various channels, stakeholders and content

* Draw on the above to formulate ideas (however wild!) to ensure Improbable content is unforgettable and awesome.

* Help support and plan key events that raise the profile of Improbable in Games.

Competencies:

* 5+ years experience in PR with a background in technology/software - must have some experience in the games space.

* Full professional proficiency or greater in both Mandarin and English.

* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to different types of audiences (internal/external), and have a proven record of influencing and leading a variety of stakeholders.

* Experience developing value propositions, positioning, and communications for product launches.

* A love for customers with ability to understand their needs and desires Understand how they are using our products and use them yourself.

* Ability to understand the problems of target customers and to translate them into actionable insights.

* Some global travel will be required
