LendingClub's Investor Group is responsible for raising highly diversified capital to fund loan products on our platform through retail customers. The team is passionate about building investment products that provide for a great customer experience while providing access to unique asset classes. The Investor Group partners with dedicated legal, finance and operations teams to deliver compelling investment solutions for clients.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Platform Balance & Analytics Manager to provide thought leadership to the Investor Group to help refine and optimize its practices. This role reports into a Director and will operate in a cross-functional capacity across Product, Finance, and Technology.

Responsibilities:

* Provide analytical leadership and data-driven insights to drive several critical Investor Group initiatives

* Partner closely with trading operations team to drive execution of pool sales.

* Coordinate with Finance & Treasury in optimal utilization of leverage facilities to warehouse loan inventory

* Assist in management of investor order books to guide platform balance and drive sales direction

* Develop capabilities to assist with the democratization of data, providing self-service capabilities to the team and developing standardized reporting as needed

* Liaise with the Data Services team to highlight underserved areas of the platform which require infrastructure development / refinement to provide better access to information

* Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to resolve data discrepancies on the platform and identify and resolve reporting issues with external clients

About You:

* 5+ years of experience in an analytic / data-intensive role

* Expertise querying databases (SQL) is essential

* Impeccable attention to detail, almost to a fault; a burning desire to research and resolve data inconsistencies when discovered

* Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills; strategic and creative thinking along with a "can-do" attitude

* Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, with its fast pace and fluid nature, comfortable delivering results with a small, lean team

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and client groups

* General knowledge of the credit and investing markets

* BA/BS required; Master's degree preferred
