Operations Manager – SF

* Oversee daily utilities operations with our utilities vendor, ensuring that we get utilities turned on and off in each of our homes in a timely and efficiency manner

* Own the Utilities growth and support strategy, constantly finding ways to drive better process and performance amidst rapid scaling

* Work closely with our product and engineering teams to design, test, and productize tools needed to optimize Utilities operations

* Monitor key metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and dig into root causes to understand and address emerging trends

* Rapidly execute on solutions when problems or challenges have been identified

* Work with adjacent teams and key stakeholders to ensure we are always delivering the best and most timely experience for internal and external customers

* Manage the relationship with our third party utilities vendor to ensure they consistently meet our needs

* Work with our finance team to budget and plan for how to scale utilities operations as we grow

You have:

* At least 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or program/project management

You are:

* A creative problem solver, with a proven track record of thinking"outside the box" to solve complicated and multi-faceted problems

* Excited by operational process and challenges, with a knack for figuring out how to make things work, even without many resources

* A strong and structured communicator, both verbally and in writing

* Tenacious, and willing to always dig one level deeper to understand the root cause of issues

* Analytical; able to draw insights from data, but also to make decisions based on imperfect data

* Willing to roll up your sleeves and do"whatever it takes" to solve the problem

* Hungry and energetic to hit ambitious goals

* Customer-centric: you care deeply about every customer interaction and the experience of all buyers and sellers

Bonus:

* Experience working at a high-growth technology company

* Experience in real estate portfolio management or utilities management

* Proficiency in SQL
