Job Overview:

As a My Stylist Tourism Manager, you will drive and exceed Sales and My Client goals through clientele selling and corporate sales business. In addition, you will lead Tourism Marketing and Sales within your location. Clientele selling will focus on individual customers, servicing their fashion, home, and gift-giving needs. Corporate sales include the development of a community business client base, structure and fulfill their incentive and rewards programs, and gift needs- including product and/or our gift cards. Tourism marketing will include overseeing procedures for new Tourism program for China as well as developing marketing strategies and partnerships to drive visitor traffic and sales. Perform other duties as necessary.

Essential Functions:

Sales

* Drive and exceed Sales and My Client base goals by providing a personalized elevated shopping experience.

* Achieve corporate sales goals by identifying businesses through networking with fashion clients and community events/outreach. Develop a local community business client base and fulfill incentive and rewards programs and gift needs – including product and/or Electronic Gift Cards.

* Increase annual spend of existing account base through on-going communication of relevant events or sales opportunities and execution of compelling content on social media networks to draw in-store traffic.

Customer

* Demonstrate exceptional clientele selling skills, focusing on the individual customer; servicing their lifestyle and gift-giving needs.

* Provide superior customer service and promote Macy's service feedback programs.

* Serve as a role model for selling and service skills to influence positive performance among other colleagues.

* Provide efficient and timely execution of all corporate sales orders.

People

* Create a positive, inclusive work environment.

* Ensure that all procedures, policies and shortage programs are understood and executed.

* Possess an entrepreneurial/business owner mentality while taking a leadership role with Store Manager in all relevant My Stylist event planning and execution to further increase loyalty and My Stylist utilization.

* Perform as a Stores Representative for all Corporate My Stylist Initiatives; sharing opportunities and successes at district, regional and divisional level.

* Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Tourism

* Partner with local programs to lead tourism efforts, including relationship management, group facilitation and financial accounting

* Develop marketing strategies and partnerships to drive visitor traffic and sales

* Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with tour operators and city – wide events, to promote and expand overall awareness of Macy's as the premier shopping destination for domestic and international visitors

* Work with store management when applicable to involve Macy's in all sponsored events and programs for the travel and hospitality industry such as concierge events

* Track, analyze and measure return on investment of store visitor sales and marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent.

* A minimum of 5 years in retail or other.

Communication Skills:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

* Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Reasoning Ability:

* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.

Physical Demands:

* This position involves regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.

* May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

* Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Other Skills:

* Must be fluent in Mandarin.

* Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills.

* Strong customer service orientation; strong client base is a plus.

* Strong organizational, interpersonal skills.

* A keen sense of fashion, ability to coordinate items and suggestive selling techniques.

* Experience or familiarity with a variety of lifestyles, business segments, and social media platforms while displaying credibility to interact with broad client base.
