657697 - SoC Verification Lead

Description:

The Advanced Solutions Group (ASG) of Leidos has an opportunity for a motivated, full-time SoC Design Verification Lead located in our San Diego, CA office. You will define the Verification plan for a new, complex SOC and lead its execution.

Responsibilities Include:

* Responsible for leading the pre-silicon verification of the entire SOC.

* Lead and collaborate in designing and defining the verification plan for the full SOC.

* Develop, maintain, and publish verification specifications.

* Manage internal/external teams in verification efforts.

* Self-directed in objectives and directions for SOC verification.

* Collaborate with other teams for project planning, risk mitigation.

Articulate the critical requirements for SOC verification and be the voice of the verification for the project. Responsible for maintaining high level verification dashboard to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Take initiatives to address issues proactively before they become full blown crisis.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must minimally meet the following qualifications:

* -BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related discipline

* Must have a US Citizenship and be eligible for a U.S. DoD security clearance.

* 12-15 years professional experience in SoC verification and leading the verification of multiple SOCs from concept phase through tapeouts

* Deep knowledge of SOC verification methodologies and expert in constrained random verification process, functional coverage, code coverage, assertion methodology

* Expertise with a verification language such as Systemverilog/UVM etc

* Experience defining coverage space, writing coverage model and analyzing results

* Experience with multicore CPUs, DSPs, multi-domain clocking, SerDes interfaces, DDR, NIC/NOC, AHB/AXI

Ability to work and communicate on a cross-disciplinary, geographically diverse team

Comfortable taking initiatives to solve vaguely defined requirements

Ability to work in intensive and changing environment

Self-motivating, excellent written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills

Preferred:

* Active security clearance

* Experience leading geographically diverse teams
