Senior Commissions Analyst

Basic Function & Scope of the Position: Provides leadership and support for the administration of the Global Sales Commission Plan including interfacing with Sales Team Personnel to ensure timely and accurate sales commissions calculations for over 500 sales representatives. Ensures on a daily basis the integrity of the data used for commissions processing and works to further streamline and improve current processes within each calculation cycle. Supports both the Finance and Sales Departments with the analysis of sales commission related metrics to assist with plan design changes that best incentivize the sales force within department budget guidelines.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

* Facilitate the administration of the Global Sales Commission Plans including monthly payment calculations

* Coordinate and delegate monthly tasks across the commissions team

* Manage new hires, promotions, and other changes in our commissions software program

* Compile and manage various data sources inputs for commissions calculation software

* Respond to commissions related inquiries

* Monitor data exchange activity to third party software host and trouble shoot errors

* Manage exception reports and clean up source data

* Conduct software system testing for quality assurance

* Create sales metrics reports that add value for sales management

* Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, outliers to assist management with decision making

* Build relationships with Sales Team members and provide quality customer service

* Manage the development and delivery of new hire training

* Submit recommendations for process improvements and streamlining opportunities

* Work as a team lead to support the annual commission planning process

* Coordinate the annual quota setting process

* Keep up with changing trends in incentive plan design

Knowledge/Abilities:

* Have great attention to detail

* Be able to problem solve and make quick decisions

* Ability to collaborate with geographically distributed teams

* Be able to adapt to changes associated with a growing company

* Multi-task in fast paced environment and meet deadlines

* Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

* Have excellent verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Experiential Background:

* Experience with Commission Plan administration

* Experience in a sales support capacity

* Knowledge of sales processes and incentive programs

* Experience leading a team

* Familiarity with Xactly Incent Software a plus
