Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Information Assurance Specialist - HBSS PAE is actively seeking an Information Assurance Specialist to support the Southern California Offshore Range (SCORE) Contract located at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA.The Information Assurance Specialist will be responsible for performing computer and/or network security vulnerability assessments and scans to identify, evaluate and mitigate security risks, threats and vulnerabilities.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Audit's computer systems to ensure compliance with mandated policies and reviews log files across the network.Monitors and maintains security systems in accordance with DOD mandated policies. Investigates security violations and breaches and reports such violations as necessary.Research, recommend, and implement information security solutions.

Qualification Requirements:

Must meet DoD Cyber Security Workforce (DoD 8570.01-M) requirements, 3-5 years HBSS experience (with HBSS 201 &301) Two or more years of computer science, management information systems, network, and/or data security experience in a multiple operating system environmentFamiliar with ACAS, eMASS, RMF, DIACAP, vulnerability management, and incidence response.Experience working with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux)Experience working with IP networking, DNS, VPN's, firewalls, and access-listsExperience working with computer desktop packages (Word, Excel, etc.)Experience working in a DoD environment - Ability to work with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)Candidate must have the ability to obtain an Interim Security Clearance (or transfer) in a timely manner, and maintain a US Government (DoD) Secret Clearance for this position on the SCORE Contract.Must have a valid Driver's License.
