Requirements for Applying

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Once year of experience (paid or volunteer) working with youth in an organized setting, ideally with at-risk youth.

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.

• In order to satisfy the paraprofessional requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act (previously referred to as the NCLB Act) applicants must meet one of the following requirements: - Complete at least 2 years of study (48 semester units) at an institution of higher education or - Obtain an associate's degree (or higher)

• Resume, detailing education and experience

• Copy of college/university transcripts or copy of Associates Degree (or higher) -- to document ESSA requirement (see above)
