Who We Are:

Energy Storage Technology Center of the Powertrain Engineering Division.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Perform test installations and operations within the Energy Storage Technology Center
  • Year-round local student

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Setup and run various energy storage systems (ESS) (destructive and nondestructive) tests in the Energy Storage Technology Center.
  • Observe, monitor, and record instrumentation/results during operations.
  • Record data and document necessary information regarding calibration or maintenance performed on test equipment.
  • Assist in keeping the laboratory and laboratory equipment clean.
  • Collaborate with project leaders or supervisors to successfully complete project needs.

Requirements:

  • 3.00 GPA pursuing an AS degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics, Energy Storage, or related
  • 0 years: Hands-on experience or an interest in the automotive, electronics, or energy storage field
  • Must have an interest in working in a team, in a lab setting, and on complex hands-on projects dedicated to ensuring the safety of batteries in engines
