Who We Are:

Our team applies physical science and engineering to produce sensors, instruments, and hardware that are used worldwide. We have experience in such technical areas as aerospace, chemical, electrical and mechanical engineering, power engineering, communications systems, mechanical design, and more.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Our student interns are given focused projects and/or current challenges in developing and testing chemistry sensors at varying levels of integration and performing laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Students will have the opportunity to get outside of the lab and perform remote Field testing.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • The types of projects that students participate in will involve laboratory testing, instrumentation calibration and remote field site testing.
  • Students will interface with scientist and engineers to ensure experiments are successfully achieved in a timely manner.
  • As part of the team, students will be expected to work rapidly and professionally as we perform agile applied engineering ending in prototype systems that are often one-of-a-kind solving specialized problem sets for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a graduate degree related biomedicine with a 3.0 GPA
  • Must have an undergraduate degree related to biomedicine and classes related to biomedicine, instrumentation, or microbiology or related
  • Must be able to work independently and in project-team environments
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required

Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
