This role will manage Early Career programs, such as college internships and rotation/accelerated development programs for early career hires. You will partner closely with Human Capital, business leaders and Talent Acquisition to create opportunities for students to begin their careers with UHC through differentiated internships and other related programming.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the forecasting/demand planning process for assigned functions
  • Develop, manage and enhance existing college programs, collaborating across UHG as needed
  • Identify opportunities to develop and implementing new programs that will enable the growth of student hiring
  • Identify and drive efforts to manage overall quality of early career experiences
  • Lead the effort to identify key business partner roles, such as campus champions, business program and steering committees
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and UHC Leaders to assist with on campus activities as needed
  • Collaborate with other program managers to identify / create opportunities for company-wide early career experiences that will support our employment brand, as well as the development of the students

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 + years of program/project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in creation and management of enterprise-wide programs - e.g. internships, development programs
  • Management of intern/rotational programs, HR Generalist and / or Talent Acquisition experience
  • Experience leading the development of change management, communication plans, talent processes, tools and resources
  • Practical experience in collaborating and influencing multiple levels of leaders across the organization
  • Intermediate (or higher) Excel experience
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities supporting the above functions
  • Practical experience in a medium - large, complex organization
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple and concurrent initiatives
