Job Description Summary

This position reports to the Americas Talent Management Lead and the purpose of this position is to support the Talent Management Lead, Talent Acquisition/Management Process Lead, as well as Talent Management Center of Excellence (CoE) in ensuring the Group meets its goal of effectively and efficiently supporting Talent Management for the Americas.

Key Responsibilities (Top Tasks & Outcomes for Which This Position Will be Accountable)

  • Become an expert on the system/s supporting Talent Management
  • Provide data/information to the Talent Management Lead, Talent Acquisition/Management Process Lead and Talent Management CoE as needed to address problems, solve questions or analyze efficiency or effectiveness
  • Perform tasks in support of Talent Management in accordance with standard operating procedures. This may include processing transactions in Workday or other systems
  • Support special projects
  • Provide support to the Customer Interaction Center (CIC) as required. This may include systems navigation, call script support, etc.
  • Create written communications instructing users how to use systems
  • Manage and support any escalated or high quality CIC cases
  • Communicate any downstream impacts from CoEs to tier 1 support
  • Flag any gaps in knowledge management materials at tier 0 (HROne) and tier 1 (call scripts)
  • Complete all forms requests from the CIC
  • Manage the training administration of BD University scheduled courses by arranging the required logistics (vendor/venue), registrations/class enrollment, fulfillment activities to ensure course material are ordered and arranged, sending of course evaluations and consolidating the results, analyzing learning spent, and process cost chargeback
  • Partner with Talent Management CoE to update portal content and system required settings (i.e. adding Key Business Objectives) to the performance plan, send communication to employees during the Initialization and Year End Annual Performance review cycle
  • Create Annual Performance Review Forms in Workday and launch to eligible associates

Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree or equivalent or related specialized courses preferred
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment
  • Previous experience as a systems “super-user“

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to details and use time effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to independently compose routine written communications
  • Experience using a Human Resource Information System is desirable, especially WorkdayExcellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using a case management system and knowledge portal
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Multi-tasking capabilities to manage several caseloads

Applicable Operational Languages

  • Expert proficiency in English, with at least one other language preferred
