Job Summary

The Training Manager will provide leadership and management for all training functions that are deployed across the facility. Further, this role will provide standards, services, and guidance on IT related training programs using information technologies and systems. Prepare training documents and services that are required to support training requirements drawing input from administrators, engineers, systems analysts, and project & program management personnel as well as the Government. Maintain contact with program management and key stakeholder leadership to ensure that the training meets requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manages the activities related to various training and educational programs for the organization, to include, providing support for coordinating, developing, and delivering computer-related training to the user community.

* Resolves issues related to desktop IT resources.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Training & Development, or a related area; and three (3) or more years of progressive experience in the field or in a related area.

* Possess thorough knowledge of appropriate hardware and software (ex. - PCs, Microsoft (MS) Windows, MS Office, and learning system applications).

* Demonstrated experience with operating IT equipment, workstation set-up, and have familiarity with networked systems.

* Excellent briefing, writing, communication, administrative and organizational skills.

* Must demonstrate ability to take initiative and to work independently, under stringent timelines and as member of a team.

* Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.

* Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
