Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Main Office

Status: Part-Time (25 hours a week) or Full-Time (40 hours a week)

Position Purpose

Responsible for managing resources and contractors necessary to ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all building properties. Directs the maintenance of all building systems including mechanical (HVAC etc), electrical, fire, plumbing, waste management, landscaping and cleaning. Prepares and implements preventive maintenance schedules. Primary oversight of building security, including cameras, access, alarms, fire and keys.

Essential Duties

* Assure that all buildings and grounds owned by the Credit Union are maintained and present a professional appearance daily. Respond to work requests from branches as required.

* Prepares and implements preventative maintenance schedules and maintains related equipment warranties.

* Management of building security systems. Manages access credentials and alarm codes. Coordinates updates as needed. Monitors cameras and provides video as needed. Manages Master and other keys.

* Responsible to perform routine maintenance duties as needed including the repair of minor plumbing, carpentry or electrical problems at all Credit Union facilities.

* Negotiate vendor agreements and procure competitive bids as needed

* Oversee the facility-related work of vendors hired by the Credit Union, assuring work is complete and according to agreed upon specifications.

* Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with all people, including fellow employees, members, management staff, board members, and outside vendors.

* With assistance of others, assess facilities needs and present recommendations for capital improvements, furniture, equipment, and key required maintenance items.

* Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.

* Perform all other duties as assigned.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Gantt charts and related software applications

* Ability to work with limited supervision


Three to five years of related facilities, construction or project management experience.


High School Diploma or equivalent. Any certification in Facilities or Project Management preferred.
