Job Summary

In the MNIT Enterprise Server Support role, you will be responsible to administer Window servers with SCCM and the creation of compliance base lines and packages related to server build processes and maintenance. The incumbent will perform day to day build efforts as well as projects across the environment to ensure delivery on feature and capacity enhancements. You will support, maintain and deliver server infrastructure services.

Responsibilities to include:

* Administer server SCCM package, install and configure SCCM agents and push updates and provide reporting

* SCCM operating system deployment

* Work incoming tickets related to SCCM, providing updates to stakeholders, restore critical operations after unexpected outages, and resolve problems

* Prepare detailed root cause analysis, recommending mitigating changes and enhancements, and communicating long term solutions. Ensure overall health of the environment used for patching and all related sub-systems

* SCCM planning, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise-wide system enhancements

* Provide performance tuning, capacity planning, and reporting as needed

* Troubleshooting and the diagnosis of problems found during verification as it relates to computing equipment, network connectivity, firewall settings, security configurations, patching, virus protection configurations, and application availability

* Participate in ticketing triage delivering new server builds, server decommissions and other server related tickets submitted to the Windows Server Support team

* Project work as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume.

Position requires a minimum of two (2) years of server administration experience that includes:

Installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of Windows Server operating system 2008 and 2012r2

Microsoft Operating System scripting experience

Troubleshooting experience including the ability to create and test hypotheses

Ability to lift up to 50 lb., bend, reach, climb ladders and work in space from under the data center subfloor plenum to above the data center ceiling plenum

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related substitutes for two years of experience, OR a related Associate's substitutes for one year.
