Full-Time Core Faculty

The Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University is seeking exceptional applicants for our APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program. The campus is located in Eagan, Minnesota.

Successful candidate(s) will join a cohesive faculty of outstanding practitioner-scholars who share a commitment and passion in working with diverse and marginalized populations. We are primarily interested in psychologists able to teach a range of assessment courses and neuropsychologist, or those with experience in teaching courses such as physiology, and cognitive and affective processes. Applicants must have commitment to graduate instruction, training effective clinicians, supervision of student research, academic advisement, and involvement in professional and scholarly activity. One day per week is allotted to pursue off-campus scholarly and/or professional activities. We offer competitive salary and benefits. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Candidates with a strong practitioner background, teaching experience at the graduate level, and demonstrable potential to produce scholarly works will be given highest consideration. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program.

Job Requirements

Knowledge: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program

Skills/Abilities:

* Able to facilitate collaborative learning and active student involvement, so as to enable graduate students to achieve course outcomes.

* Maintain and improve course relevance and instructional strategies.

* Develop a professional rapport with diverse school/campus constituents.

* Interact with students in a thorough and timely manner, and mentor/advise students.

* Appropriately, constructively, and productively interact with other faculty, administration and staff.

* Serve on program/campus committees, and contribute to program evaluation and improvement.

* Capable of guiding students through their Clinical Research Project (CRP), including initial design, implementation, and final scholarly product.

* Demonstrate time management and detail-oriented skills.

Reports To: Clinical Psychology (PsyD) Program Dean

Directly Supervises: None

Interacts With: Academic Affairs departments, other school/campus functional areas, and other faculty and students.
