Job Description:


This position is responsible to act on the owners behalf for planning, coordinating, and directing all project activities from project initiation through completion in all areas including patient, procedure, and administrative space. Also, this position will be responsible to manage space allocation and programming efforts. Performs other duties as assigned.



BA/BS in architecture, interior design, or facilities management


Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities project and space management in a health care environment.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Effective leadership skills to achieve organizational and department goals

* Effective prioritization skills

* Strong knowledge of building codes as they relate to ADA, Fire/Life Safety, and Joint Commission.

* Ability to collaborate effectively and tactfully with project personnel, internal staff, and stakeholders to meet project goals.

* Displays effective time management and organizational skills

* Strong financial management skills

* Strong AutoCAD Skills

* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Access, etc.



Master's degree preferred


Familiarity/experience in both hospital and ambulatory care operations and familiarity with medical and clerical equipment

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

Related certifications preferred
