POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for directing all Drop Bury activities in support of new and existing customers, including rebuilding, and existing plant upgrades. Works with Fulfillment and Drop bury Managers to provide direction and guidance necessary to develop budgets for and allocate appropriate funds for new equipment, operating expenses, upgrades and other drop bury efforts. Responsible for Recruiting, Vendor Management, Fiber Construction, Planned and Emergency Restoration, Utility Relations, and Project Management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

* Establishes and maintains recommended drop bury standards and practices.

* Oversees work activities of installation, site survey, quality control and drop bury coordination of customers.

* Aligns performance metrics to support the achievement of business, department, and team goals. Works closely with corporate and region staff to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting, measuring, and monitoring new business opportunities.

* Negotiates pricing; executes and manages the MSO and TAK contracts to guarantee the most fluid underground plant protection operating procedures and the best financial pricing for each region.

* Works closely with Corporate/Legal to ensure that all contractors/vendors meet all Company guidelines for Certificate of Insurances and Company Master Agreements.

* Leads and directs the Region and Corporate team. Ensures accuracy of all invoicing and

* Directs/Oversees all projects within the region.

* Works with commercial lead to develop and execute overall strategies that will support both residential and commercial initiatives.

* Practices and ensures Company safety policies and procedures are followed.

* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

* Attend weekly safety meetings held by TAK Communications.

* Make careful examinations of the work site and of the plans, specifications, construction sheets and maps to become informed as to the location and nature of the proposed construction, existing utilities and the kind and character of the soil and terrain to be encountered.

* Strictly adhere to the standard operating procedures provided by TAK Communications.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

* 10-year Broadband Technician or equivalent work experience required

* Bachelors Degree or Equivalent required

* 5 years of prior management experience required

* Ability to oversee 60 plus field crews, 4 Leaders and 8 frontline team members

* Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required

* Working knowledge of National Electric Code, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) laws and regulations, and related state and local codes is helpful

* Professional demeanor

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen and have a valid drivers license.

* Must possess the capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly.

* Ability to manage stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and uphold the mission of the organization.
