Your role: responsible for installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting Linux systems. You will assist in the design and implementation of Open Source solutions for MilliporeSigma initiatives, both cloud-based and on-premises. You will assist in the design and implementation of geo-dispersed and scalable solutions for our award-winning web site ( You will assist in the design and implementation of IoT initiatives.

Who you are

* Bachelors' degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.

* Minimum of 2 years' Linux system administrator experience in a corporate environment.

* Proficient with Linux RHEL/CentOS.

* Understanding computer networking principles a plus.

* A person passionate about Open Source.

* Desire to learn new technologies and improve on processes.

* Quick to pick up new concepts and technologies.

* Possess strong troubleshooting skills.

* Scripting (Bash/shell, Python, Perl) experience.
