Overview

TheTreasury Technology Services (TTS)unit is the embedded information technology organization for the Treasury Division at FRB St. Louis. TTSdevelops and supports applications ranging from off-the-shelf cash managementpackages to enterprise-level custom accounting systems. The TTS is seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer who willcreate and lead: automated testing strategies, plans, scenarios, and automatedtesting scripts, as well as the development and implementation of strategy forcreating and maintaining reusable test data. The Lead QA Automation Engineer will ensure implementation of industrystandard testing tools and integrate testing with the continuous build process.

Responsibilities

* Manageand develop system integration and functional testing strategies and subsequent supporting tests plans and cases

* Develop,manage and maintain automation framework that can retain reusable automationtest cases and test data

* Develop,execute and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration,regression, performance and usability testing

* Developtest automation strategies and approaches that incorporate multiple phases oftesting including: unit, system and integration, functional, performance, andregression testing.

* Developsupporting test plans that incorporate automated testing tools.

* Createand maintain reusable automated tests.

* Createand implement automated testing of web applications across multiple webbrowsers and platforms

* Developprocess definition and documentation and a working knowledge of ReleaseManagement

* Managecontinuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes

* Leadthe application development unit testing strategy, tools, and automation

* Researchand collect performance requirements, along with developing the appropriateperformance test work products (test strategies, plans, scenarios and scripts)

* Leadset up and prepare test environments in advance of testing and manage testingprogress report and including defect management

* Manageand maintain quality related metrics like unit test coverage and testingprogress

* Remaincurrent with new testing technologies

* Developand implementing a strategy for creating and maintaining reusable test data.

Qualifications

* Bachelor'sdegree or commensurate experience

* 5 years of experience with automated regression testing

* Highlydeveloped competency with Selenium HQ, HP Performance Center and Load Runner

* Demonstratedcompetency with change management and defect tracking tools – JIRA or HP ALM isa plus

* Demonstratedcompetency in the creation of SQL scripts

* Demonstratedcompetency with Cucumber and HP QTP/UFT or similar tools

* Demonstratedcompetency with Java, Python, Ruby, or Descriptive Programming Language

* Demonstratedcompetency with an iterative development lifecycle

* Expertlevel analytical and problem solving skills

* Expertlevel interpersonal skills and written communications

* Highstandards of confidentiality; ability to handle sensitive information withintegrity and trust

* Excellentcustomer service skills and strong ability to manage business relationships

* Candidateswith less experience may be considered at a lower job grade and/or salary

* Travel(5%)
