ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day-to-Day Implementations:

* Provide technical leadership, design solutions and lead the implementation of new products and services.

* Identify and/or clarify issues impeding implementations.

* Provide implementation assessments to management and development teams.

* Resolve in a timely manner, problems that arise with new product implementations to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of the new products.

* Have minimal return work as a result of misunderstanding assigned tasks, communicating with users, and exercising appropriate judgment between what is requested and what is feasible.

* Perform analysis for project estimates and project completions.

* Writes business correspondence and technical reports; reviews report results for accuracy.

Direction and Guidance

* Generate design artifacts for teams ranging from high level system drawings to key classes/interfaces.

* Lead structured technical and functional walkthroughs of specifications with team members.

* Assist with staff training on standards, new technologies, implementation processes, etc.

* Establish positive teaming environment by proactively assisting team, and training less experienced personnel.

* Ensures documentation accurate and delivering value to the implementation team.

Readiness:

* Work with product teams to ensure a problem free deployment.

* Work with the appropriate teams to ensure integration testing of software is sufficiently conducted.

* Participates in change management activities, including Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation.

Strategy

* Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications; communicates how problems will affect business and/or the implementation/support teams; recommends solutions.

* Review solution/product/service designs written by others as needed.

* Recommend and contribute to new and existing implementation standards.

* Work with management, architects, and other teams to create, enhance, and maintain implementation standards.

* Participate in development and refinement of roadmaps for technology products and business lines.

* Researches opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions.

* Interpret end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications.

* Works with the development team to enhance the product and implementation/support of the products. May include recommending solutions that best serve business needs based on lessons learned and feedback from the implementations.

* Performs task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.

Overall

* Maintain a broad knowledge of the IT environment and Keefe's business lines and technology products.

* Consult with Systems, Networks, and other engineers to evaluate interface between hardware and software regarding operational and performance requirements of the overall system.

* Maintain a solid understanding of production environments. Use this information for best fit designs and to identify when production changes would benefit our products.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Implementations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid driver's license.

* Must qualify for and maintain ability to receive correctional facility security clearance

* Must pass drug screening test

* Ability to travel
