* Execute all sourcing and contracting responsibilities. Assure business specifications are met in a timely manner, minimizing risks and maximizing cost savings. Define and execute sourcing strategies, Requests for Proposals, proposal analysis, contract creation, and contract review and approval. Identify potential suppliers to fulfill ESI's outsourcing requirements. This position may also be required to respond to client proposals.

* Execute all non-IT sourcing and contracting responsibilities for International and Canada Business units

* Strategic planning in conjunction with Category Management formulate and maintain sourcing plans.

* Contribute to the evolution and transformation of the Corporate Procurement department to a more client service organization driving increased value-add to ESI. This role will be expected to propose and drive new capabilities across the function. Included are the adoption and full utilization of Contract, eSource, and data warehouse tools. This person will establish themselves as a leader of the function, driving capabilities and throughput across the group.

* Represent Corporate Procurement on cross-functional task forces


* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred

* Knowledge/experience with PBM or healthcare industry preferred

* 10+ years of relevant work experience or Master's degree and 8-12 years' experience

* Excellent communication skills, including presentations to external clients and executive level leadership

* Advanced problem solving skills with ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies

* C.P.M. or C.P.S.M designation from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) a plus

* Strong sourcing, negotiation, and contracting mentoring skills

* Strong virtual cross functional team meeting leadership and project management skills

* Strong people leadership, coaching and development skills

* Ability to prioritize and manage work load and meet project deadlines

* Ability to work towards specific deliverables within a dynamic environment

* Ability to handle complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions

* Cross-disciplinary skills required: strategic, financial, analysis, marketing, communication, etc
