We have implemented SAP's Business One and are looking for an accounting associate to join and grow with our team. As we grow, we need team members who can contribute to best practices by learning old practices and improving them! The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, data entry, and an ability to create successful relationships. They will have 1-5 years bookkeeping background, an associate degree, or experience in varied areas of accounting/bookkeeping such as job cost, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections.

Accounts Payable: Audits and reviews invoices for processing. Researches discrepancies. Responds to inquiries via telephone and email. Post information to ledgers and processes payments.

Accounts Receivable: Prepares invoices for services performed. Receives and processes cash, credit, and check transaction payments, reconciles receipts, and prepares refunds as necessary.

General Office Requirements: Assist in general office duties associated with the Administration and Customer Service departments with the ability to successfully communicate among departments. Proficiency with computerized accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. Must work well in a fast paced environment. This person will also perform routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures, including photo copying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and distributing mail.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-5 years experience working in accounting.
  • An associates degree in accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a fast paced environment.
  • Superior communication and organization development skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • PC proficient, experience with SAP system a plus
