The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Maintenance Department in performing routine and preventive maintenance of physical plant and equipment. Maintains asafe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees and visitors. The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for daily managing and coordinating all activities of the maintenance and housekeeping department, which includes monitoring supply inventories and managing effective housekeeping staff.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: One to two years of experience performing facility maintenance or in the trades required. Advanced training in an area of the trades preferred, with at least two (2) years in a management/supervisory role. Management of a maintenance department for a Joint Commission Accredited hospital 30 beds or more a plus.

Training: Successful completion of Crisis Management and Service Excellence training must occur within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures. CPR certification required.

May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
