Hines Supply Company is currently seeking an Outside Sales Rep. for their Kitchen & Bath Category, to support their new St. Charles, IL showroom.

Position Review:

Generates and secures new sales to increase the profitability of the company. The OSR also

maintains existing accounts while generating new business through leads supplied by Hines

and self initiative.


Work with Hines Management to identify and contact potential customers.

Communicate with the Cabinetry Manager on project and pricing issues.

Do take offs and pricing.

Prepare and submit the actual bid package.

Perform sales presentations.

Work hand in hand with the Inside Sales Rep (ISR) to properly set up each job including

contact and billing information, special vendor discounts, etc.

Measure all jobs to insure that the floor plans are correct.

Prepare the Sales Agreement and make sure that the customer signs off on the Sales


Prepare and present to the ISR a complete order with the proper vendor forms, layouts,

and a copy of the signed Sales Agreement.

Act as a liaison between the customer, vendor, and sub contractors.

Assist in the collection of accounts receivables.

Helps to resolve customer complaints and problems.

Maintain current knowledge of daily and monthly sales and their relationship to profit goals.

Understand all aspects of the customer billing cycle, cash vs. credit, and how to figure and

process a deposit by having a thorough knowledge of the paperwork flow and distribution


Communicate with the Cabinetry Manager on a timely manner bid reports and activity

reports where required.

Attend required company meetings and functions.

Partner with the customer base to provide training, special events, etc.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Minimum education required - High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Minimum experience required - 3-7 years of Kitchen and Bath industry experience.

Candidate must have a working knowledge of 20/20 Design software, Excel, Word, and


Candidate must have good interpersonal skills, sales skills, oral and written communication

skills, and design presentation skills.

Physical demands include the ability to lift 25 pounds on a consistent basis, and 50 pounds

on a more random basis.

Maintain a valid drivers license to operate a motor vehicle in the state of sales activity.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary plus commission.

Full benefits including insurance, sick and vacation days, and profit sharing once qualified.


Elevations by Hines location in St. Charles, IL. Showroom hours will be required daily.
