Snowline Hospice is a community-based organization dedicated for over 35 years to meeting the unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those who are nearing the end of life's journey. We are a dynamic nonprofit agency that is truly focused on quality care in our communities. We are currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join the team. We have two administrative office locations in Sacramento & Diamond Springs and 5 retail stores located throughout Sacramento and El Dorado County. This is a full-time, benefited position that will be a key player amongst our Marketing team.

Summary:

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness, building and engaging the company's visibility, and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of Snowline Hospice and Snowline Retail.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* In collaboration with the Executive Director, create, design and publish marketing materials and collateral that clearly communicates a unified message throughout the entire organization

* Coordinate, develop, and focus all marketing efforts and the organization's identity to include: general strategy, social media, website management, digital marketing, email marketing, collateral materials, public relations and advertising

* Communicate with the Executive Director to create, implement, and follow an annual marketing plan with tactical updates

* Discover and manage opportunities for Snowline to be present at community events as promoted by various community organizations

* Coordinate with Marketing team to strategize about opportunities and to coordinate staffing

* Work alongside other Marketing staff at events when appropriate to maximize Snowline presence

* Collaborate with all Directors and Managers to facilitate effective company website content, updates and utilization

* Assist the Development Director in the coordination and implementation of fundraising activities

* Plan, develop, market, implement special event activities, to include, but not limited to: signature events and hospice month activities

* Work with clinical and retail teams to schedule, organize and implement marketing initiatives and assist with events and campaigns

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in business, liberal studies, marketing, communications or related field

* Minimum of three (3) years professional experience in building professional relationships, fundraising, marketing and special event planning experience

* Minimum of two (2) years experience with graphic design of marketing materials and website management

* Excellent verbal, written, public speaking and interpersonal skills required

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities

* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications

* Strong social media skills preferred

* Ability to work evenings and weekends as events require
