IDL Brand Design Producer

This position is responsible for local design coordination of all IDL brands. You will have responsibilities include preparing and purchasing propped products for on-air presentations as well as all print/video support. This would include artistic stage design & display of IDL product props on set for both beauty and live demos. Position is required to be in communication with IDL merchandising. You would be responsible for attending all calls, meetings, and strategy sessions for all IDL brands. This position provides brand identity through new, innovative and exciting creative design and concepts for B-roll shoots and stage setting/brand demonstration of IDL brands during live airings at HSN while maintaining consistency with IDL/HSN brand strategy. You will act as liaison between key HSN personnel and IDL staff to insure a smooth transition of airing preparations & actual live performances, as well as execution of all support materials (both print and video).

Day in the Life

* Develops and enhances brand Identity, style and live demos of all IDL brands.

* Manages and oversees design elements for taping of promos, Showstoppers etc. Additionally, acts as a liaison between IDL and HSN regarding development and execution of HSN planned themed events pertaining to all brands.

* Oversees HSN stylists and provides IDL's visual art direction (based on product knowledge as well as creative direction from IDL team) at B roll shoots and remote location shoots for all brands.

* Confirms and updates all information associated with the products being sold on air.

* Maintains current reference book of all sets, setups, photos & props required for each product demo.

IDL Brand Appearances:

* Prepare in advance all visual propping of products scheduled to air. (based on demonstration requirements)

* Assist IDL Team in all aspects of set –up and preparation for IDL Brand presentations on HSN.

* Discuss minimum one-week prior to airdate, the direction for both new and previous product demonstrations and "set look".

* Coordinate with HSN Visual Design and Sets team to design new props and to establish look of the studio and set to be used. Choose elements needed.

* Suggest new ideas and create demonstrations for on air presentations. Discuss in advance products and props needed and purchase necessary items before and while actually setting up.

* Accept and be responsible for special packages delivered for on-air use and transport to HSN studio or B-Roll location.

* Assist Set-up of display props and products for on-air demonstrations for IDL Brand products.

* Design and collaborate to build large working props for Today's Specials and other presentations.

* Assist in supporting HSN Imaging Department in advance of IDL team arrival for appearances, providing product samples and color suggestions etc in a timely manner and approving the still images.

* Prior to shows, educate the live show team on any past presentations of products to enhance the next airing.

* Review Product Presentation with IDL Team members.

Product B roll Support:

* Coordinate and oversee B roll shoots in Tampa area for all products acting as product specialist & stylist when necessary.

* Review shot lists from IDL.

* Discuss and coordinate with producer and IDL Team, all shots needed/ requested and check off as they are completed on site, this includes meeting in advance with set stylists to discuss options for shot list provided.

* Keep file/record of all talent used; when, where etc.

* Insure purchase of any props needed for B roll and appropriate execution during the shoots.

* Act as set designer when necessary to visually set up and view each shot before camera begins to roll

* Bring or coordinate delivery of any props needed to the b roll shoot location and return all props back to HSN storage area.

Dot Com:

* Interact with Dot Com to facilitate getting product to Imaging so that it can be posted in a timely manner.

* Periodically go over brand pages to see if any errors appear.

Must Haves

* Bachelor's Degree in Visual Art, Interior Design, Retail, TV or related field

* 4 year experience styling in a retail/TV environment

* Valid Florida Driver's License

* Must have a great visual sensibility/aesthetics

* Ability to incorporate knowledge of sell needs, brand needs and camera requirements when styling product or an remote shoot.

* Ability to adapt styling skills to fit IDL objectives and maintain consistency of the theme/tone throughout an live shot, remote shoot or project.

* Must have excellent verbal and written communication

* Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.

* Must be able to multi-task projects with specific deadlines

* Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with a diverse group of individuals and personalities

* Works either individually or as part of a team or as lead of team

* Sense of style and/or creative eye for design

* Schedule: Must be able to work various shifts in a 24/7 environment, including weekends, Holidays and overnights.

* Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long period and Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 35lbs
