Aronson LLC is seeking a client service-oriented Director to join our Transaction Advisory Services practice. We’re looking for motivated and entrepreneurial minded transaction advisory professionals who are interested in advancing in their careers and contributing to the growth and development of our practice. The Director will lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial due diligence assistance to middle market companies and private equity investors.


  • Plan, execute, and oversee transaction advisory engagements
  • Demonstrate excellent financial modeling skills
  • Ensure client satisfaction with the engagement process and deliverables
  • Develop excellent client relationships at the appropriate levels
  • Qualify opportunities and participate in the proposal process
  • Utilize network and industry relationships to identify business development opportunities
  • Collaborate with professionals in other practice areas
  • Supervise and train junior team members

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree and approximately 8 - 12 plus years of related work experience
  • Degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
  • Assurance/consulting experience focusing on middle market companies
  • Government contracting and/or technology industry expertise strongly preferred
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • A demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A dedication to teamwork
  • Flexibility to take on other management consulting projects
  • Occasional travel outside DC Metro area required
