IT asset management plays a vital role in supporting the Infrastructure and Information Technology Operations Branch's (IITOB) mission. The IT Asset Management function is the primary point of accountability for the life-cycle management of information technology assets throughout the organization.

The contractor shall support the IITOB in the development and maintenance of policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organization to best manage the IT Asset Portfolio with respect to risk, cost, control, IT Governance, compliance and business performance objectives established by the government.

11TOBs IT Asset Management uses integrated software solutions that work with all Division Offices and Centers (DOCs) that are involved in the procurement, deployment, management and expense reporting of IT assets. Assets include all elements of government owned IT software and hardware that are found in the NCI business environment. Hardware asset management entails the management of the physical components of computers and computer networks, from acquisition through disposal.

The current process includes request and approval, procurement management support, life cycle management, redeployment and disposal management. Software Asset Management is a similar process, focusing on software assets, including licenses, versions and installed endpoints. Maintaining an effective IT asset management program further minimizes the incremental risks and related costs of advancing NCI's IT portfolio infrastructure projects based on old, incomplete and/or less accurate information.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA or equivalent + 6 yrs of related experience, or MA + 4 yrs related experience
