Description

Position Summary. The Analyst, Contract Planning & Support provides support for completing supplier contract initiatives, including accurately interpreting legal documents to identify key business terms and performing entry of the key business terms.

Position Reports to Manager, Contract Planning & Support

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interprets legal documents (e.g. supplier contracts, amendments) to accurately transcribe relevant data into Avendra's CRM system
  • Activates and inactivates Avendra's supplier contract records on a timely basis
  • Supports CRM data integrity
  • Maintains data related to suppliers, contracts, amendments, and allowances
  • Works continuously to improve the accuracy of price groups and regions
  • Maintains accuracy of initiative related data
  • Responsible for the supplier termination process
  • Drafting supplier termination letters (based on templates) after identifying the contract termination terms
  • Communicating terminated suppliers across the organization
  • Reviewing the Let Expire list to initiate the termination process
  • Supports the forecasting process with system-supported financial phasing

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Works to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of department processes
  • Assist department management with special or ongoing projects especially those related to supplier diversity.
