We are currently seeking a highly qualified Procurement Analyst to join our Direct Materials Procurement department in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will design, manage, and execute product ingredient sourcing strategies to meet business requirements at the best possible value.

Specific accountabilities include:

* Leading in the supplier qualification process: sourcing and selecting appropriate suppliers; RFP, RFQ, and Marketplace Assessments

* Developing contract or strategic service agreement terms and conditions

* Performing business analyses to determine strategies and achieve optimal business value

* Performing market research and analysis

* Leading contract negotiations

* Execute against purchasing and financial policies/procedures and procurement systems

* Identifying and responding to customer needs and requirements

* Execute responsibilities associated with supplier and contract management

* Participating in or leading cross-functional business efforts and/or Procurement requirements

* Assist customers with designing and introducing processes aimed at re-engineering the business

* Supporting supplier audits to ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and other requirements

* Managing projects related to the procurement of business critical goods and services

* Producing business reports, charts and graphs to assist in managing the business

* Providing technical procurement advice to project oriented, cross-functional teams

* Coordinating resolution of payment issues

* May supervise or train cross-functional resources and/or assigned employees up to the level of Purchasing Analyst, as required
