Right of Way Agent - Richardson, TX

Halff Associates has an immediate opening for a Right of Way Agent in our Richardson, TX office.

Responsibilities:

* Contact Landowners to provide an explanation of the project and program

* Negotiate with the landowners or their representatives and prepare administrative settlements

* Resolve title defects and document the correspondence with landowners

* Research public records, conduct field reviews

* Compose and assemble offer packages

* Process payments and attend closings

* Provide relocation assistance for displaced individuals and business owners

* Discuss relocation benefits and eligibility in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Assistant Act with those individuals that qualify

* Assist with moving arrangements, analyze inventory and identify and resolve personal property issues as well as coordinate and review move estimates

* Calculate payments, prepare compliance documentation

* Request reviews and approvals for the submission of relocation claims and maintain files

Requirements:

* 5 plus years of experience working in Right of Way

* Texas Real Estate License

* Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
