Sr. Manager - Cyber Security Strategy

As the Sr. Manager - Cyber Security Strategy, you will identify future capability for IT and the business and determine the security requirements and delivery models required to support the future capability within the context of threat landscape. In this role, you will report to the Director of Global Cyber Security, IT Risk & Compliance and will work with the Global IT Center of Digital Competence and Delivery team to deliver change to the companywide landscape to improve protection of Intellectual Property and services.

Key Accountabilities

* Identifying new trends and technology in cyber security and determining how the current model could utilise and support, working with the Enterprise Security Architect

* Determining future operating capability for security and delivery models, which may include securing Operational Technology, IOT devices as well as IT.

* Building and maintaining business relationship with digital capability to understand the business requirements

* Building and maintaining external relationships with Governments and the cyber security industry to fully understand the evolving threat landscape

* Defining cyber security requirements across Rolls-Royce

* Defining capability plans to support Rolls-Royce globally

* Working with other parts of the Cyber Security, Risk, & Compliance team to understand the changing threat and risk landscape

* Working with senior business executives to understand their strategic plans.

* Liaising with peers in industry and government to understand trends in cyber security.

* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%

* Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or information technology and 12 years of information technology security experience

* Or a Master's degree in business, computer science, or information technology and 10 years of information technology security experience

* Or a PhD in business, computer science, or information technology and 6 years of information technology security experience

* In order to be considered for this position, you must be eligible to receive and maintain a DoD - Security Clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship


* Extensive Cyber Security experience

* Prior experience defining and implementing Cyber Security capability and strategy within a global organization

* Current DoD - Secret Security Clearance; Top Secret Clearance preferred

* Prior experience working with Executive leaders and government organizations

* Demonstrated experience communicating the benefits and impact of change to all levels of an organization
