This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.

The Machine Learning/Computer Vision Consultant will be responsible for supporting cognitive development activities on a large federal government contract. This role may also assist with design thinking and visioning workshops aimed at eliciting current processes and workflows across stakeholder organizations.

This role would assume training responsibilities and would serve as the end-users' primary point of contact for all usability questions. Finally, this role would be responsible for quantifiably measuring the user ratings across usability, utility and reliability dimensions.

Candidates must:

(a) Be proficient in programming skills to include: JAVA, C++, Python, and Object Oriented Programming

(b) Be proficient in Machine Learning to include: feature extraction, statistical approaches, linear and non-linear classifiers, and deep learning

(c) Have experience with Watson Developer Cloud and Watson Explorer Annotator Development

(d) Be proficient in Image Processing, Image Analysis, and/or Computer Vision

(e) Be proficient in Natural Language Processing (NLP)

(f) Have the ability to generate hypothesis and evaluating/apply advanced analytics to weigh and evaluate a panel of responses based on only relevant evidence

(g) Work with Dynamic Learning by helping to improve learning based on outcomes to get smarter with each iteration

(h) Design, develop, enhance, debug and implement software. Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.

(i) Research, test, build and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.

(j) Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

(k) Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.

(l) Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.

(m) Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.

(n) Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

(o) Act as team leader on projects.

(p) Instruct, assign, direct and check the work of other software developers on development team.

(q) Participate in development of software user manuals.
