As a Badging Administrator, you will create and distribute badges to personnel who have successfully cleared the client background investigation process in support of the contract through guidelines set forth by Corporate Security & Resiliency. This position is charged with acting as the lead in customer service on all matters related to the Security Solutions Team. As a member of the Security Solutions Team, the Badging Administrator will be responsible for assisting with all tasks as assigned by the manager to include, but not limited to: Inventory tracking, reporting, responding to inquires via email, in person or via face to face contact.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Verify only authorized persons are issued badges, also ensure those with badges are provided appropriate door clearances. Participate in the activation and deactivation of badges.
  • Ability to perform imports, exports and manipulate raw data, into meaningful reports or charts.
  • Complete requests for special access, research and solve problems or complaints
  • Ability to track, request and secure security inventory and assets.
  • Monitor emails, phones and electronic request database.
  • Process requests for parking (Visitor, Executives etc.)

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in security or customer service industry

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major Activity: Working on PC while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching.
