Regional Manager - Clinical Sales

Overview

The Region Manager—Clinical Sales is responsible for aggressively driving all sales activity to deliver revenue targets for the ABILITY clinical applications. This is an individual contributor sales role aligned with a defined geographic territory, a few named channel partners and named strategic. The position further will function as a specialized resource in the ABILITY sales matrix of resources, including a larger team of Account Executives (SAE). .

Responsibilities

* Lead and execute all sales activity for the ABILITY clinical applications within your defined territory to achieve Monthly, Quarterly and annual personal sales objectives.

* Partner with the ABILITY sales leadership team, the Sales Directors, in particular, to develop and execute a plan aligned with the sales goals in your assign assigned territory.

* Function as a subject matter expert on ABILITY clinical applications for the SAE team. Orchestrate their execution of lead generation and account cultivation activities. Provide specific direction and guidance to advance and or transition sales opportunities for your ownership and engagement to successful conversion to closure. Leverage detailed knowledge of quality of care reporting, benchmarking and data analytics, and the value of using business intelligence to improve care outcomes.

* Participate in weekly sales meetings and communicate weekly results and performance metrics as they relate to sales pipeline, sales activities, sales cycle time, regional market share, market penetration, wins and losses, etc. for both individual and team performance

* Monitor and provide structured feedback on market conditions, regulatory trends, competitive activities, win-loss lessons learned, targeted initiatives for growth and with key target accounts or channel partners within your territory.

* Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers for prospects of clinical products, including but not limited to Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, MDS Coordinator, and OASIS Coordinator.

* Identify regional influencers that can support and influence the sales of ABILITY products and services. Regional activities include, but are not limited to: tradeshows, association memberships, training, speaking engagements, etc.

* Execute other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience; clinical degree (RN, etc.) and/or experience preferred

* 3-5 years of successful sales experience selling clinical healthcare technology products or services, calling on clinical decision makers and meeting monthly performance objectives

* Experience selling, implementing, or integrating with EHR systems preferred

* SaaS or subscription-based software sales experience preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment

* Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail

* Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue objectives

* Previous management experience preferred or equivalent work experience

* Strong people management skills, including customer relation skills, with the ability to make build rapport over the telephone with hospital billing staff and administrative staff

* Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and independently with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time

* Working knowledge of sales force automation and contact management systems

* Willingness to sell in a team environment, where interaction with other inside and outside sales professionals and marketing personnel is necessary to achieve sales goals

* Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
