Associate Research Scientist

The Immuno-Oncology department is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to support the clinical development of a Client drug for the treatment of cancer. Primary responsibilities include the processing and analysis of samples from in vivo combination studies using mouse syngeneic models, with the primary readout being multi-color flow cytometry. In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in designing, performing and analyzing experiments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in electronic notebooks and presenting data at team meetings. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual that has a keen interest in performing basic research in a translational environment.

Qualifications - External
- A BS/MS degree in Immunology or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in 10+-color multi-color flow cytometry (FACS) analysis and basic molecular and cellular techniques including cell culture and ELISA is essential.
- Background in immunology, particularly myeloid biology, is highly desired.
- Experience in mouse tissue processing is highly desired.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Suite applications, FlowJo, GraphPad PRISM, Spotfire and other statistical programs is essential.
- Candidates should be detail oriented, have good communication skills and be a self-motivated, flexible team player.
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills are needed.
