Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Senior Systems Engineer supporting a Cybersecurity, Vulnerability, and Assessment Test Environment (CVATE) in Huntsville AL. This is a full-time position, contingent upon contract award. This position will support the RTC Distributed Test Control Center (DTCC) on Redstone Test Center (RTC). The person in this role is responsible for applying systems engineering processes and best practices to the development of requirements, designs, plans, and reports in a manner tailored to the timely development and successful demonstration of a prototype test environment. Reports to Systems Engineering Lead.

Duties:

* Create system engineering management plan; apply systems engineering processes and toolsets in a manner that enable rapid response to changing mission needs and/or resource availability; coordinate with program management personnel to prioritize programmatic and technical objectives; may lead and direct the work of others.

* Coordinate with customers to help clarify test mission needs and gaps; create concepts of operation and concepts of maintenance that correlate with test mission needs and anticipated resources; conduct requirements elicitation and management at all levels from capability level test mission operations to subsystem element functional and nonfunctional levels; allocate requirements to specific products.

* Coordinate with developers and testers to create requirements and design documents for each required resource; ensure that requirements are achievable and testable; conduct technology surveys and trade studies related to needed capabilities; recommend build or buy decisions for needed capabilities; correlate individual requirements with specific elements within designs; conduct product configuration management and control; lead technical reviews (formal and informal) as products mature, plan and conduct verification and validation of developed resources as needed.

Required Qualifications:

* 12 years of experience performing the duties described above.

* A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a technical disciple (engineering, science, computer science/engineering).

* Active Secret clearance.

* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.

* Light travel may be required.

Desired Qualifications:

* Background in aviation, communication, sensor, cyber, unmanned air/ground, and/or missile systems.

* Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

* Experience defining and implementing the cost-effective, judicious application of model based systems engineering (MBSE) capabilities to specific programs.

* Certified Systems Engineering Professionals (CSEP) certification or higher.

Security Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Any formal job offer will be contingent upon the incumbents' receipt of an Interim Clearance and successful adjudication of the security clearance process.
