Staff Accountant

The company is seeking a Full-Time Staff Accountant to join our team, which is headquartered in Reading PA. The position will report to the Manager of Fiscal.

The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of general accounting practices and principals, with an emphasis on general ledger management, financial statement preparation and analysis, as well as monthly and year end closing and external reporting.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelors in Accounting

* Zero to (0) to four (4) years experience working in accounting

* Knowledge of payroll tax and federal reporting requirements

* Knowledge of GAAP

* Good communication skills

* Excellent computer skills

* Excellent writing, documentation, financial skills

* Excellent organization skills

* Team Player

POSITION STATEMENT:

* The Staff Accountant will:

* Function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS

* Ensure general ledger maintenance and analysis for assigned affiliates of Inperium Management Services

* Perform as a business partner to assigned affiliate(s) as it relates to fiscal matters and ensure recurring accruals account reconciliations are booked and completed at months end

* Maintain fixed asset ledger and ensure depreciation, asset addition and disposal are accounted for correctly

* Complete bank reconciliation for all assigned affiliates

* Establish a relationship with assigned affiliate(s) to ensure all fiscal protocols and controls are maintained

* Maintain all KPI reports including ATP, PDCS and others as assigned

* Cross train within the finance department to become proficient in A/P, A/R, payroll and other areas as assigned

* Assist in the completion of month end close for the consolidated entity by supporting other fiscal staff, as needed

* Any other duties as assigned

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

* Participate on Committees as requested

* Filing

* Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and representative payee as needed

* Assist as needed in preparation for and during the Annual Audit
